Centuries - Fall Out Boy

First, the song starts in the left ear. Then, it starts again in the right ear a few seconds later, creating a layered effect.

When I saw Dallas in Stockholm in February he talked about good and bad gigs and told us in the ending that it had been his favorite show of the tour which obviously made me very happy that I was a part of it and then he thanked us and said that, that night was something that he really needed. Hearing this new album and listening to the commentary of this song made me think of that, knowing he was in Oslo the night before and well I guess my point is that I find it very cool when I think back on that night, that what he was talking about was what spurred on to becoming this song.

Music Mondays: Laundry Room - The Avett Brothers (Cardinal Session)

Last night I dreamt the whole night long
I woke with a head full of songs
I spent the whole day
I wrote ‘em down, but its a shame
Tonight I’ll burn the lyrics,
Because every chorus was your name

I know there’s California, Oklahoma
All of the places I ain’t ever been to

But down in the valley
With whiskey rivers
These are the places you will find me hiding

These are the places I will always go

Raising Cain - Gregory Alan Isakov

and loving you was just like raising Cain,

it was strong and bound for glory, and cursed with a thousand stories,

that season came in quiet with the rain.
